We are people passionate about building open-source technology, and we back initiatives of general interest with commercial, scientific and/or social aims.

Genix ERP

Business management, CRM and e-commerce system for small companies. Point of sale, logistics, account management, customers, projected cash flows and electronic invoicing. Every company can export its own data. Hybrid architecture: cloud-native or self-hosted.

Serialization

Colbin

Columnar binary serializer optimized for arrays of records. Written in Go and AssemblyScript. It transposes the data and encodes it column by column using varint, delta encoding and 5-bit chars, cutting bandwidth compared with formats such as JSON, CBOR or Protobuf.

Search engine

Genix Search

Compact ranked search backend, optimized for short texts and multiple indexes with low RAM usage. It uses bigrams computed for Spanish, hash-maps and RocksDB as storage. A static binary with no dependencies.

Factura-Go

Go library for issuing electronic tax documents: building the document, signing it digitally, sending it and checking its status with SUNAT (Peru).

Simple Vault

Offline-first password manager that encrypts everything in the browser with Argon2id and AES-256-GCM, and keeps the vault in the isolated storage of your own Google Drive. No application server.

ORM with a compile-time checked query API for ScyllaDB / Cassandra and DynamoDB. Access patterns are declared up front and served by partition, index or view.

In-memory service that validates access and deducts usage credits in a single TCP call, based on per-minute quotas. A Rust process with HMAC frames, locks across concurrent Lambdas, request logs, reporting and an SSE bridge.

Genix Support AI

Support automation for open-source projects: it indexes the code, reads the tickets, reproduces the problem like a real user with BrowserOS, opens the PR with the fix, waits for the deployment and answers the ticket.

Why open source?

Open source companies are disruptive by nature.

Releasing the code widens the market, speeds up adoption, multiplies visibility, builds community and makes the software safer, because anyone can audit it. Linux, Red Hat, Valve, WordPress, GitLab and Odoo proved it. Open source solves the following:

With open source, the vendor stops being the bottleneck, support becomes decentralized, the system is more flexible and AI is more autonomous because it can inspect the code. These projects grow organically through the collaboration of professionals, researchers and SaaS companies that adopt them as the base of their own services.

Why «labs»?

A space for innovation and research

Inspired by Bell Labs and Xerox PARC: spaces of innovation where the technological foundations that shaped the following decades were born. And by Google Research, which produced «Attention is All You Need», the origin of modern AI.

We believe in putting product development ahead of every other axis of the business. The product is the company, and research shapes the product. Commercial royalties are there to fund the product and its research, which answers to an expected impact. The «labs» suffix embraces these ideas.

We take on the challenge of democratizing access to software by cutting the cost of AI per process. We use frontier AI to build, but we deploy efficient AI-based services with more deterministic methods.

Genix Agentic UI is an example of how small, vision-free models can act as agents that help the user navigate the system and carry out instructions. That is what makes it possible to squeeze every dollar of inference.
